Accessibility Statement

Baby Registry Ideas aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought — every new tool and page is checked against these guidelines before it ships.

• Keyboard access: every interactive element — checklists, quizzes, the name game, search — is operable with a keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link.
• Screen reader support: semantic landmarks, labeled controls, checkbox roles with state on all interactive checklists, and live regions that announce quiz results and search results.
• Color and contrast: text colors are chosen to meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio (4.5:1) against their backgrounds, and information is never conveyed by color alone.
• Reduced motion: animations and smooth scrolling are disabled automatically for users whose system requests reduced motion.
• Responsive text: the site works at 200% zoom and on small screens without loss of content or functionality.

Third-party content we don't control — embedded ads (when present) and the Amazon pages our product links lead to — may not meet the same standard. Emoji are used decoratively throughout; screen readers may announce their names.
