Privacy Policy

Server logs: Standard web server logs including IP address, browser, pages visited, and referring URL. Used for security and analytics.

Cookies: The public site sets no cookies. Optional analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google AdSense) are used only if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner — declining is remembered and honored, and the site works fully without them. You can change your choice anytime via "Cookie preferences" in the footer.

Click statistics: When you click an Amazon product link, we record which product was clicked, from which page, and when — nothing else. This is anonymous first-party data (no cookies, no visitor identity, no IP stored) used to understand which recommendations are useful.

Local storage: Tools like the Registry Checklist and Baby Proofing Checklist save your progress in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.

Email address (optional): If you sign up for our newsletter, we store the email address you provide, the page you signed up from, and the signup date. We use it only to send you the newsletter you requested. We never sell or share your email, and every email includes an unsubscribe option. To be removed at any time, use the unsubscribe link or contact us.

Amazon: When you click an Amazon link, you leave our site. Amazon tracks the referral via the affiliate tag in the URL. See Amazon's privacy policy.

Google Analytics: If enabled and you consent, Google Analytics 4 collects usage statistics (pages visited, approximate location, device type) with IP anonymization. It never runs unless you accept cookies.

Google AdSense: If enabled and you consent to cookies, may serve display ads using cookies for ad personalization. You can manage preferences at Google Ad Settings.

Google Fonts: The Fraunces and Mona Sans fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Google may log requests.

You can: decline or withdraw cookie consent at any time ("Cookie preferences" in the footer); clear tool data (checklists, due date, quiz results) by clearing your browser's site data — we never see it in the first place; unsubscribe from any email via its unsubscribe link; and request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold (your email address, if you subscribed) by contacting privacy@babyregistryideas.com.
